This is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up or dessert!
WelleCommunity member @bitesbybec_ creates an alternative to the classic cherry ripe, only better ❤️ Using The Nourishing Protein in Vanilla, it is also the perfect afternoon pick-me-up or dessert.
MAKE WELLE:
Filling:
- 2 cups frozen raspberries
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/3 cup Nourishing Protein in Vanilla
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- sea salt flakes to decorate
Coating:
- 80g dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Method:
1. Place raspberries into a large bowl and allow to sit for 10 minutes to soften. Once softened, mash with a fork.
2. Add in the desiccated coconut, protein powder, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mash and mix until well combined.
3. Add to a lined container and press down firmly, freeze for 1 hr.
4. Melt your dark chocolate and coconut oil together until melted.
5. Take your slice out of the freezer and slice into squares
6. Dip each piece into the dark choc, and place on a lined tray
7. Sprinkle with sea salt and set In fridge for 30-45mins
